New Features
Full retention of document structure and
styles (ADRT 1.0). ABBYY ADRT 1.0 include retention of:
- Headers and footers. It will be reconstructed in the MS Word document as native MS Word formatting elements and not just part of the main text
- Page numbers. When adding or deleting a page from a document, page will be changed accordingly. If a number is changed on a document's page, the other page numbers will be changed accordingly
- Footnotes are linked to the corresponding text. If a text is moved to another page or deleted, the footnote will be moved and deleted accordingly
- Captions to images/table/diagrams. Caption is linked to the image, table or diagram and if the picture is moved, the caption will be moved accordingly, staying connected to the image/table/diagram
- Fonts and font style. Instead of 3 fonts in PDFT 2.0, PDFT 3.0 will be able to detect the font and font style of different parts of the document and correctly reconstruct it in the resulting document
Improved conversion of documents with
tables
This feature can be extremely helpful for those who need to change or correct financial documents available in PDF.
Merge documents into one PDF file.
Several options are available:
- PDF could be easily created from "Create PDF" module from
a combination of files so that each file's content will
start from the new page in the resulting PDF.
- In Windows Explorer, a user can choose multiple files and create a PDF from all the selected documents using the command in the context menu.
PDF compression: up to 10 times of
compression
PDF Transformer’s new MRC technology will allow achieving 4 - 10 compression ratios depending upon the content of the initial document. In PDF Transformer 3.0, PDF compression will be available for scenario "Image-only PDF to searchable PDF".
Redaction for blocking sensitive
information on the output documents
All sensitive information can be easily redacted from any type PDF document. Redaction will be available for "Image-only PDF to searchable PDF". Both text and metadata will be redacted.
Bates Numbering
All incoming documents could be archived and identified later using unique Bates Numbers feature. User can customize Bates Number based on his/her needs. This feature provides identification, protection, and auto-increment numbering of the documents.
Stamping
Allow user to customize Stamp text, color, location on the document.
