An update for ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap 4.x (Windows version) is available to download. This update is intended for the program with part number #56422 (version 4.0) and #7254 (version 4.1).

This update includes the following changes:

For version #56422:

  1. Windows 7 support
  2. Microsoft Office 2007 support
  3. Bug fixes in export module have been made

For version #7254:

  1. Microsoft Office 2007 support
  2. Windows 7 support

Note: To check the part number of your distributive, please open main window of ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap and click the About button.

Steps to install the update:

  1. Download the FRSS4P_564_22.exe (139 Mb) and save it on your computer where ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap is installed. To download the update, please register first by filling out the registration form.
  2. Close ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap.
  3. Run the update: FRSS4P_564_22.exe.

Please register your copy of ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap by filling out the registration form.
